Not news that I’m a blogger for Future Challenges/Irrepressible Voices. Such a privilege to be a part of the Global Voices on this platform, and I’ll always be grateful for that trip to Ghana where I met Mac-Jordan Degadjor.
I’ve been writing for Future Challenges for just about two years now (archive containing my pieces is here), and I don’t know what I love more, the way my writing has grown thanks to the editors who work patiently to ensure our thoughts are cohesive enough to inform rather than confuse people around the world, roundedness of the storytelling, or the opportunities writing for this organization has opened me up to!
One of such opportunities is Deutsche Welle’s Global Media Forum which runs from the 30th of June till the 2nd of July. It’s especially exciting for me, this conference, because of the workshops lined up, the speakers (there’s an incredible line up), and the fact that I get to meet and share experiences not only with the nine other FC bloggers, but journos drawn from around the world!
Even more exciting is the pre-conference training which holds on the 28th and 29th. Social media for social good, creating teams for digital participation are bits of what the workshop will be!
Here’s why you should be super excited too – I’m going to share it all with you! Just like I did a mini series off the sessions I attended at Social Media Week London, you can be sure my notes will be transcribed on here!
